Photography as a fine art has a peculiar connection to the real world. My intention is to explore depictions of reality (worth contemplating because they are real) while acknowledging the mysterious relationships of what I see. Through photography I address the known and unknown aspects of reality, of nature and our built environment, with uncertain meaning something paradoxically as real as the physical thing pictured.
Technical mastery of digital printing allows me to present my version of the world on a piece of paper. I make my own digital photographic prints using fine archival materials.
