Bruce Connor Made Me Do It
I never knew Bruce Connor.
His inkblot drawings mesmerized me years ago. But I forgot all about them, like so many, many things. Then I saw a museum retrospective with more inkblots than it seems possible for a human being to make. I can’t ignore them now, so these “lucky 13” are my homage to Connor’s drawings.
This small series of small pieces brings together photographic imagery from my own archives, altered to fit the inkblot-inspired form.
10 x 8 inches to 24 x 16 inches. Printed on Kozo and Asuka papers.
