Circle/Square

Wandering in circles. Cornered in the square. Individual subjects relinquish their specific identities to recompose as small gestures residing in simple shapes. Reflecting the nature of change, some images have undergone tonal manipulation and some not. The compelling textures and shapes invite us into their orbits.

These small prints have inhabited a drawer in my studio for several years, growing in number very slowly. In early 2023 they clicked: 12 squares and 15 circles, each inhabiting its own dimension.
